INSTEP 2011 QHSE Month
On the 1st of February 2011, SEATRU was invited by Institut Teknologi Petroleum PETRONAS (INSTEP) to conduct an exhibition and to give a public talk on sea turtle conservation in Malaysia at the Sri Gelam Hall.
QHSE is the abbreviations for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. This campaign has four main objectives:
1. Instil ownership on operational excellence by developing continuous improvement culture among PMTSB staffs.
2. Showcase quality, healthy, safety and environmental initiatives, achievement and lesson learnt.
3. Improve bonding and promote cohesiveness among PMTSB staffs.
4. To create and promote QHSE culture among PMTSB staff and its stakeholders.
Besides creating awareness among the staffs on sea turtle conservation, we managed to collect fund through our sales of souvenir.
We from SEATRU, UMT would like to express our deepest sincere for inviting us to this event and we hope through this outreach we are able to spark the passion in sea turtle conservation among the INSTEP’s staffs.
TOGETHER WE CARE FOR SEA TURTLES!
